Lawrence "Larry" Knitter, 76, passed away March 13, 2018. He was born on February 2, 1942 in Chicago, Illinois beloved son of Henry and Mary (Matusek) Knitter. Larry is survived by his loving wife, Jean; stepson, Patrick Horrigan (Melissa); sister in laws, Margie and Karen; and many nieces and nephews. Larry was a loving brother of Arlene (Joseph) Rozanski; dearest uncle of Steven (Carol) and Michael Rozanski; dear great uncle of Cheryl, Gary and Stephanie. He was a member of the Nature Coast Corvette Club. Larry was an avid bowler, enjoyed cruising, traveling, dancing, and singing karaoke. He also enjoyed watching Nascar racing and was a volunteer with St. Vincent DePaul Society. Visitation will be held, Monday, March 19, 2018 from 1 to 3 at 280 Mariner. Service will be held Monday, March 19 at 3pm in the Brewer Chapel. Memorial Mass will be held Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at 11am at St Frances Cabrini Catholic Church. Burial will be in Illinois. In lieu of flowers, donations to HPH Hospice.
